Contract Transportation Services

AA Transportation Co., Inc. provides contract transportation services to more than 22 public and private school districts in Central Massachusetts. We transport over 18,000 students from home to school and school to home every school day for regular school and special education programs.

In addition, we provide contract transportation services to many colleges, companies and businesses in our service area. This service includes daily shuttle services, and pickup and drop off daily routes.

We also offer a full line of charter bus services, utilizing coach style and school buses, to public and private colleges and universities, companies, organizations, schools and businesses. Our general service area covers destinations as far away as New York City and the Maine, Vermont and New Hampshire ski and vacations areas.

Our fleet of buses, automobiles and vans, some wheelchair equipped, meet any requirements a customer may have. All of our vehicles are inspected on a regular basis by several Massachusetts State agencies. The average age of our fleet is less than 2 years, in all vehicle types we operate.

We are a full service transportation company, operating under USDOT and MADTE rules and regulations. We are large enough to offer the benefits of a big company, and still maintain that personalized service of a small company.

All of our employees are subject to CORI, criminal background, checks and pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing. All drivers must have required drivers’ licenses and certifications to operate company vehicles. Drivers are also required to attend monthly safety and training meetings for driver’s license renewal. We offer a full training program for new drivers, taught by our staff of licensed trainers. Our state-of-the-art facilities feature onsite vehicle maintenance by our certified mechanic staff; onsite fueling operations; direct driver and office communications for emergencies and dispatching requirements; and computerized systems for business controls.
